The role:
Friesland School are looking to appoint an inspirational Teacher to join a committed and hardworking team, teaching Food Technology with Design and Technology to KS3. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed to students’ learning and ensuring they each achieve their full potential by consistently delivering engaging lessons. The successful candidate will join a team of effective, hardworking professionals, committed to providing an outstanding education for all students. The ideal candidate will join the popular subject and help to develop and motivate students to gain their best outcomes.
The person:
We are looking to appoint a colleague who is an excellent teacher and has the talent, drive and commitment to build on current strong foundations. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for food technology, with a drive to improving the outcomes of students at all key stages. They will be organised, able to plan ahead and have the ability to develop an engaging curriculum, continuing to develop the established success of the popular subject and department. They will have creative ideas and set challenges that motivate students both inside and outside the classroom, allowing students to explore their ideas and be proud of their achievements.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in teaching Food Technology plus Design and Technology. They will have a genuine desire to help and support our young people throughout this course, be able to teach all areas of Food Technology plus Design and Technology. For this role, Food Technology will be the main subject taught along with Design and Technology to KS3. They will be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a passion for teaching and learning.
