We have an exciting and challenging role as Clinical Consultant Southwest.
What to expect?
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide training and clinical guidance to current and future users, ensuring effective support and monitoring for clinicians in the Southwest area of England (incl. the South of Wales).
* Execute the commercial strategy of the company.
* Patient Care: Improve patient outcomes through professional education and consultation with medical staff.
* Supervision of all centers where patients are treated with Impella® products.
* Reporting clinically relevant data, documenting results, and working closely with our team members and sales colleagues.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications and Expertise:
* Successfully completed training in a clinical or technical field, ideally as a Healthcare Assistant, Nurse, or Clinical Perfusionist.
* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in direct patient care, specifically in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), nursing units, cardiac surgery operating rooms, or cardiology catheterization laboratories.
* Commercial experience in the MedTech industry is preferred
* A compelling attitude with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, fostering loyalty and trust.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to convey information clearly and effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is essential.
* High degree of flexibility with a willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including for emergency support cases in designated regions.
* A valid driving license is mandatory for this role.
Education Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is essential.
* A clinical or technical degree in areas such as Radiology, Cardiovascular Science, or Perfusion is required to ensure a solid foundational knowledge for the role.
Candidates should be located within the specified geographic area to facilitate accessibility and prompt response to clinical needs.
