We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team part time at Medivet Shawbirch.
Medivet Shawbirch is nestled in the beautiful county of Shropshire, a short drive away from the picturesque Iron Bridge World Heritage Site and the Wrekin Hills. Telford shopping centre is only 10 minutes away from the practice and has over 160 stores, cafes, and restaurants. The centre is the largest shopping centre in Shropshire. The practice has onsite parking and is very accessible with the A442, M54, A5 and Wellington train station very close.
The practice is equipped with the latest facilities including digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, operating theatre, dentistry, and Ultrasound. Shawbirch is a lovely practice with a very close client base. As well as our in-house services at Medivet Shawbirch, you’ll also get access to all the services available across the entire Medivet group.
This role is part time working 10 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends at Shrewsbury 24 Hour. The salary works out to be between £12,500 and £13,750.

* Deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures.
* Provide exceptional care to your clients, giving clear updates on patients.

* Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
* Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way.
* Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care.
* Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
* Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
* Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
* Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
