We are recruiting for a truly unique opportunity with a global leader in the financial services arena, This is an opportunity to join a growing and evolving team in a position where you can truly shape Business Continuity and Third-Party Risk. We are looking for an experienced Third Party Risk or Business Continuity specialist to join the Enterprise Risk Management team, where you will lead strategic oversight and provide resilience analysis, insight, solutions and thought leadership focusing on business continuity and third-party risk.
As the Head of Operational Resilience, you will lead strategic oversight and provide expertise in business continuity, third-party risk, and data risk management across key areas of the bank. Your work will ensure that IT infrastructure and services are resilient, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards. This high-impact role calls for a proactive leader capable of guiding senior management, fostering a culture of resilience, and managing risk across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for operational resilience, business continuity, and third-party risk.
Provide strategic insights and guidance to senior stakeholders, ensuring all risk-related matters align with business and regulatory priorities.
Lead in-depth reviews of the bank's risk and control environment, enhancing mitigation strategies for resilience and third-party risk.
Develop, implement, and regularly update policies, frameworks, and standards related to operational resilience and risk management.
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to promote a culture of risk awareness and resilience across the bank.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in risk management, specifically within operational resilience, business continuity, and third-party risk in the banking or financial sector. Key qualifications include:
Extensive knowledge of risk management methodologies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to resilience (e.g., ISO 22301 and ISO 31000).Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management frameworks.
Proficiency in developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
