My client is looking for a Science Teacher to work at a School around the Royal Tunbridge Wells area. This is a Part-time Permanent Position to start in September 2024 to work on a 0.6 contract and it will be teaching KS3, GCSE & A-Level classes.
They can be flexible with the working hours/days for the position
Salary: MPS / UPS with a potential TLR for Pastoral Support for the right candidate
To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:
• Recent experience working as a Science Teacher at a Secondary School
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching KS3, GCSE & A-Level classes

Head of Year responsibilities
There is the potential for this role to hold a TLR for Pastoral Support (Head of Year).
The purpose of the post is to monitor and support the academic progress of students in a defined year group of the school and to support their welfare and conduct, including promoting the highest levels of attendance and punctuality.
The Head of Year will also lead a team of tutors in implementing and maintaining a system of academic monitoring, as well as monitoring the behaviour of students in the year group, referring students to the Assistant Headteacher as appropriate
