We are currently working with a a small but successful business based in the Didcot area who are seeking someone to join them as an Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an established forward thinking business that provides a family and team-orientated working environment. Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role, knowledge of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. You will be working in a small finance team and reporting into the Accounts Manager, duties will the following; Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records Enter customer payments and chase outstanding invoices Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies Help maintain the company management system Create credit notes Support the finance team with various administrative tasks Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks Successful applicants should have the following : Knowledge of basic accounting principles Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft - beneficial but not essential Excellent organisational and time management skills Be able to work well in a team environment Please do let me know if you are interested in the opportunity and if so please do give me a call.
