As a results-driven Supplier Manager you will lead supplier relationships, optimise performance, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies. You will play a critical part in negotiating favorable terms, mitigating risks, and building strong partnerships to ensure smooth, compliant, and innovative supplier collaboration. You will thrive on driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and developing innovative supplier networks. As a Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will center on four key pillars:
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and competitive pricing from suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through detailed analysis of supplier performance, market trends, and value-added partnerships.
Risk Mitigation
Design and implement risk management strategies to safeguard supply chain continuity, including diversifying suppliers and mitigating reliance on single sources or regions.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure supplier compliance with legal, ethical, and corporate policies.
Proactively address and resolve potential compliance issues to protect the organisation’s reputation and operational integrity.
Contract Management
Establish and maintain a centralised, well-organised repository of supplier contracts for easy retrieval, audits, and compliance checks.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of key suppliers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing structured feedback loops.
Monitor suppliers’ adherence to contractual obligations, including delivery timelines, quality standards, and service level agreements (SLAs), taking corrective action when needed.
Build strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers, encouraging collaboration and innovation to achieve mutual goals.
Experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in supplier quality management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in a multinational or complex organisational setting.
Strong track record of negotiating supplier contracts, optimising costs, and building strategic partnerships.
Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management tools, such as Ivalua, Netsuite, or other ERP systems.
Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights to improve supplier performance and cost efficiency.
Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills to identify and capitalize on cost-saving and performance improvement opportunities.
