The Role
Due to continued growth, the residential conveyancing department is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join the team in Haslemere or Petersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a busy and successful department while benefiting from long-term career progression within a progressive firm.
The successful candidate will:
* Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
* Provide expert legal advice to a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, on complex residential property matters.
* Work independently while being fully supported by an experienced property team.
* Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, agents, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
* Be proactive in business development, networking, and marketing to further develop the department's success.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* A minimum of 3 years' PQE in residential conveyancing.
* A proven track record of handling a busy caseload independently.
* Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and best practices.
* Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
* A proactive and organised approach, with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* A commitment to business development and networking to contribute to the department's growth.
