Location: Based at Babbasa’s Bristol Hub, Backfields House, Upper York Street, St Pauls, Bristol BS2 8QJ for 2 days per week, and hybrid working arrangements 3 days per week.
The role of Babbasa’s Head of Operations is to lead the provision of efficient and effective management of organisational resources, systems and processes that enable and support Babbasa to deliver high quality services and provide a great experience for staff, young people and other stakeholders.

Person Specification:
* Financial management: You are financially literate with an understanding of (or can quickly get to grips with) SORP accounting rules and demonstrable track-record of organisational financial management.
* Operations management: You are excited by challenges and resolving them with a demonstrable understanding and experience of the organisational operations function.
* Human Resource management: You have sound knowledge and some demonstrable experience of HR, GDPR and H&S policies and procedures with experience of line and matrix managing staff.
* Governance: You have an understanding of good practice in relation to Governance of an organisation.
* Working with others: You already have some senior leadership experience and can proactively identify business needs, scope and plan minor and major projects to address them, and successfully drive projects to completion, involving working collaboratively with colleagues throughout.
* Organised: You thrive on being highly-organised using supporting systems to do so.
* Effective and efficient: You are constantly reflecting on operational working practices in order to improve quality and efficiency where necessary.
* Creative Problem solving: You are very comfortable with change and have demonstrable experience of resolving problems within a complex and rapidly changing environment, using available tools such as research, data, knowledge, context, frameworks, policies and guidelines.
* IT and Data knowledge: You are highly proficient in the use of IT and data intelligence and analysis for business, with deep experience of online platforms, tools, software and also confident with hardware.
* You’re aligned with our mission: You have lived experience and/or a sound understanding of the critical issues around equity, equality, inclusion and diversity.
