Home based, with very occasional travel across the North East & North Yorkshire Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leading Tutor to join our client’s team. This is a home-based role with remote delivery, though occasional travel to the client’s Leicester site will be required for face-to-face training sessions. The successful candidate will manage their own diary and play a key role in supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial inductions for learners enrolling in the apprenticeship programme. Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and assessment for Team Leading (Level 3) apprenticeships. Support learners in developing their Functional Skills in Maths and English to the required competency level. Ensure learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment (EPA) within agreed timeframes. Work towards specific quality and completion targets to maintain high standards of delivery. Collaborate with a specialist tutor responsible for delivering structured off-the-job training, including theory-based workshops, role-play exercises, and guest speaker sessions. Maintain accurate records of learner progress, ensuring an organised and structured approach to training delivery. Stay updated with industry developments, undertaking relevant training and CPD activities as required. Attend all company CPD events to enhance professional expertise and ensure compliance with the latest educational standards. Requirements: Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32/D33). Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent) or be willing to work towards one. Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English. Strong vocational competence in Team Leading and Management. Experience in coaching and assessing apprentices in Team Leading (Level 3) and Management (Level 5). Knowledge and experience in delivering and testing Functional Skills in Maths and English. Familiarity with e-portfolio systems such as Smart Assessor.
