You'll be responsible for:
* Directing and managing application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools.
* Directing and managing a team of professionals delivering project controls services and responsible for staff development.
* Evaluating trends and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively in a complex project environment.
* Leading application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools.
* Good working knowledge of EVM and project controls methodologies.
* Advising on complex requirements and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively.
* Managing project controls delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
* Playing a key role in multidisciplinary teams and leading the creation of plans or analysis of trends.
* Managing assistant managers & managers where required by the scale of the project.
* Persuading and influencing colleagues and clients.
* Satisfying customer requirements and tackling complex problems.
* Delegating tasks to others and selling the business.
* Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to large audiences.
* Spotting and developing talented individuals.
You'll need to have:
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to be part of a high-performing team.
* Attention to detail.
* Experience of working on construction projects and/or consultancy.
* Experience of delivering effective PMO and project controls frameworks/strategies.
* Good knowledge of PMO and project controls tools, techniques, and software (e.g. MS Office, Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6, RiskHive).
* An interest in data analytics.
* Understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle and/or consultancy.
* Knowledge of PMO and project controls service delivery in one or more sectors (e.g. rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
* Ability to articulate complex information for a non-technical audience.
You'll also have:
