Live Out Experienced Nanny for 2 Children aged 2 & 10 months
This is a long term position with a family based in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Due to the nature of dad's work, the family needs a nanny who can be flexible on the days of the week they require you to work and can offer a guaranteed number of hours around the nanny, up to 40 per week, which will usually be around 4 full days.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Nanny to provide exceptional care for 2 children aged 2 & 10 months. Your primary responsibility will be to support the family with all aspects of childcare, ensuring the well-being and comfort of the children. This family leads busy lives where no two days are the same, so you will need to be proactive and used to working in a high-profile environment where discretion is key.
Responsibilities:
1. Regularly change nappies and ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness.
2. Provide attentive care and supervision to the children, addressing their individual needs and promoting their overall development and well-being.
3. Cook nutritious meals for the children from scratch using fresh ingredients.
4. Interact and engage with the children and provide activities to encourage their learning and development.
5. Child-related housekeeping.
6. The role will be a mix of sole charge and shared care with mum, so you will need to be confident with this.
Hours:
40 hours guaranteed per week - between Monday & Saturday. Your schedule will be given at least two weeks in advance.
Occasional overnight care may also be required, but notice will be given.
Travel with the family on occasion.
Salary: Around £20-£22 gross per hour for the right candidate with experience.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS Check: A fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check is essential.
2. Paediatric First Aid.
3. Provide references from previous employers or clients to verify your experience and suitability for the role.
4. You must be happy to sign an NDA as a prerequisite to the role.
5. Nanny experience working with young children of a similar age.
6. Be able to easily commute to the Blackburn area.
7. Relevant Qualifications: Possession of relevant qualifications or certificates, such as NNEB, Minimum Level 3 Diploma, or Norland Certificate.
