What we are looking for We are looking for a team player with experience in a similar position in a hotel kitchen. Responsibilities include: To accurately measure meal ingredients for the Chef de Partie. To prepare meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits. To prepare basic salads and sauces as directed by the Chef de Partie. To receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality. To take inventory of resort supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies. To discard of all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. To perform basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations are properly sanitized. To plate and present meal items as per the Chef de Partie’s instructions You will have the ability to work well with all team members in the Resort, follow leadership instructions and work to a high standard in a busy environment.
