We are currently looking for an Investment Support Analyst to join the Investment Operations team within Royal London Asset Management on a permanent basis in London.
Reporting into the Manager of Investment Support, this is a great opportunity to form part of a team which ensures both effective delivery of service to and from outsourced operations, and compliance with contractual service level agreements. You will support Front Office activities and act as a central point of contact between HSBC & RLAM Front Office for all trade and fund related activities.
About the role
* Ensure effective delivery of service to and from outsourced operations, ensuring that the service remains in line with contractual SLA and all issues are dealt with quickly and effectively.
* Develop a detailed understanding of the trade flow lifecycle with existing TPA’s and RLAM’s wider operating model.
* Ensure the team is compliant to the RLAM Risk framework looking to implement enhanced controls for operations when applicable.
* Act as a reference point for all audits within the team.
* Collaborate on individual projects, initiatives allocated to team members focusing on continuous improvement.
* Attend operational meetings both internal and external where required to provide operational expertise.
* Monitor the team’s mailboxes and ensure all queries are competently and efficiently answered.
* Help raise the Investment Operations team’s profile within the wider operations environment.
* Ensure on an ongoing basis that existing procedures and processes remain compliant and fit for purpose.
About you
* Previous experience gained within an asset management environment. Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity, FX and Leverage Loans asset classes would be advantageous.
* Understanding of the Post trade lifecycle support, reconciliation experience, failed trade resolution.
* A good understanding of Fund Manager daily routines and processes.
* Strong customer focused communication skills.
* Excel (intermediate level) Knowledge of Power-BI.
* Ability to manage change with our third-party administrators.
* Ability to quickly and clearly understand the team’s position within the wider Operational framework and how best to maximise its impact.
* Knowledge of Regulatory landscape.
* Experience with Bloomberg and Aladdin would be highly desirable.
* Knowledge and understanding of an outsource operational oversight function would be desirable.
