Nursery: Bright Horizons Poppetts Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £29,547.71 - £33,920 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Shenfield, Essex
We are looking for a full time, QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or Level 6 early years qualified Teacher to join our Bright Horizons Poppetts Nursery, situated next to Long Ridings primary school in Shenfield, Essex. We are located 5 minutes from the Shenfield station which is on the Elizabeth line.

What you’ll be doing
9. Plan and develop rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, that helps all children to develop, and meets their individual needs
10. Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, through supporting the delivery of the key person approach
11. Ensure the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
12. Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
13. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
14. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
15. Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification - essential
16. Previous experience working within the Early Years sector
17. Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
18. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
19. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
20. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
21. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
