Weekly Hours – 8:30-16:00 across 5 days (30 min lunch break). Flexibility around hours is a must due to attending meetings outside of these core hours (can be discussed at interview)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well-organised person who can assist and support the Head teacher on a daily basis with a full range of secretarial, administrative and clerical duties.
Part of the role will also include acting as the link for the governing body and school charity. You would need to attend trustee meetings for the charity and governing body (approximately 16 a year). These meetings will require a flexible approach around your core working hours, as we would require the PA to attend all meetings acting as clerk. Experience of minute taking is an essential part of this broad role.
The right person must be resilient, flexible and have the ability to manage a large workload and multiple complex tasks. They must be able to respond to changing priorities with a proven ability to meet deadlines and have an eye for detail. The position will also provide support for HR administrative tasks.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be diligent and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ideally, you will have worked in an educational setting, have experience of supporting senior members of staff, and have proven experience as a PA or similar role.
