Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Developer to elevate our application’s user experience and design. You will redesign our Bootstrap-based UI to create a more engaging and visually appealing platform that aligns with our product vision. You’ll also collaborate closely with our development team to bring modern design elements and UX best practices into the application.
Responsibilities:
1. Redesign and enhance the existing UI components using modern design principles, while retaining Bootstrap’s efficiency within a Django framework.
2. Conduct user research to understand pain points and iteratively improve the user experience.
3. Create responsive, user-friendly layouts that perform well across devices.
4. Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
5. Utilize Git for version control and to manage changes within the development workflow.
6. Implement accessible design principles to ensure our platform meets UX and accessibility standards.
7. Conduct regular testing and user feedback sessions to refine UI/UX elements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a UX/UI developer, preferably within a SaaS environment.
2. Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
3. Familiarity with Django and experience integrating UX/UI design within Django applications.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing responsive design and modern UI elements.
5. Experience with Git for version control.
6. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and a commitment to accessible design.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team and effectively communicate design choices.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working on e-signing or document-focused applications.
2. Familiarity with front-end frameworks or tools that complement Bootstrap.
3. Strong understanding of UX research methods and an ability to translate research findings into actionable design improvements.
