IT Support Engineer MSP / Managed Service Provider / IT Solutions Salary: £35,000 Location: Aston-On-Trent As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions for their clients. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies to deliver high-quality support and innovative solutions. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Entra, and Exchange. Design, deploy, and manage virtualised environments using Hyper-V and VMware. Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Monitor and manage client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide timely resolutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation for client environments. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored IT solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve service delivery. Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience working with Microsoft technologies in an MSP environment. Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Entra, and Exchange. Experience with virtualisation technologies, particularly Hyper-V and VMware. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including configuration and management of switches, routers, and firewalls. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE, CCNA) are a plus.
