An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful Revenues Team. We are recruiting a full time Assistant Revenues and Inspection Officer. The Revenues Team deal with Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and Housing Benefit Overpayments, across our three partner Local Authorities.
Based in Grafton House, Russell Road, Ipswich, with the option of hybrid working, you will be responsible for maintaining Direct Debit payments, tracing non-payers, working through system generated reports and providing general support to the Revenues Teams.
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
Experience of using email, word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to organise, prioritise, analyse and work on your own initiative
Good communication skills and a strong customer focus
Ability to approach work flexibly with a can-do attitude
Experience of using Revenues and Benefits software systems is desirable
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
