Role: Blended Learning Officer
Location: Prestwich
Pay Rate: £18.21 per hour
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain contact with the Branch’s customers and users to ensure continuous improvement in relation to cost, quality, productivity, and service delivery.
2. Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, meeting requirements through analysis, planning, design, and review of blended learning solutions.
3. Develop innovative solutions to achieve new ways of developing and delivering learning. Be responsible for effective communication of technology-assisted learning.
4. Monitor and continually improve the efficiency of training delivery, considering the deployment of trainers, support functions, and administration.
5. Validate and evaluate the effective use of technology-assisted learning to ensure the service remains efficient and effective in meeting customer needs.
6. Ensure the branch maintains the necessary technology and resources at the correct specifications and standards.
7. Support the GMP sub-domain of the nCalt eLearning system by maintaining documentation and records, including bulk registration, maintenance procedures, and data quality checks.
8. Take personal responsibility for the safe storage and transit of equipment and materials when working away from the office.
9. Carry out help desk duties for the nCalt eLearning helplines.
10. Participate in continuous development of knowledge and skills.
11. Work in other areas of the Learning Services team as directed by the team leader or Senior Leadership Team.
12. Promote and comply with GMP's health and safety policies in service delivery and staff treatment.
13. Comply with and promote equality legislation and GMP's policies on diversity and equality, taking steps to eliminate discrimination, promote equality, and foster good relations.
14. Participate fully in GMP’s development review process.
15. If responsible for staff, manage staff development, performance, and attendance according to GMP policies.
16. Comply with GMP's drug and alcohol testing policies, with specific requirements outlined for certain roles.
17. Adhere to data protection, freedom of information, and human rights legislation, ensuring data quality and security, and using information solely for authorized business purposes.
18. Supervisors and managers must ensure staff understand and adhere to policies and standards, and monitor compliance.
19. Perform other duties consistent with the role's responsibilities and grading.
