The Sales Engineer will be responsible for presenting Veriato’s solutions to prospective customers, creating and delivering demonstrations of our products, gathering customer technical requirements, and making expert technical recommendations. You will work closely with the Sales team and Channel partners to provide training and provide technical support as a product expert. This role is key in moving the sale through the sales cycle. Responsibilities (but not limited to): Involves discovery and preparing for a web demo and solving the prospects pain. Listening in on sales conversations and building strategy to win the opportunity. Providing technical assistance with clients as well as prospects. These may occur without notice. Providing in person training or web training using GoToMeeting or similar tools. While the majority of initial customer contact happens via remote session (web demos for example), on-site customer visits may be required. SE’s will often assist with post-sales events, acting as a liaison between the customer, support and development. Light travel may be required. Qualifications and skills: Proven experience of working in a customer focused, sales engineering role. Background in Cyber Secutiry and Network Firewalls a strong plus. 2years’ experience with Windows Administration, Security and Active Directory. 2 years’ network experience with topology including segments, routing, firewalls and load balancing. 2 years’ experience in providing server hardware and configuration specifications to support our products. 2 years’ virtualization experience with Microsoft, Citrix and Cloud solutions.
