A dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Trafford, to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 & 4 from September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year.
This position is five days a week and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff. Responsibilities include:
1. Attend departmental meetings when required.
2. Be available for parents’ evenings.
3. Plan and deliver captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning.
4. Mark the work and provide feedback in tandem with AfL.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Degree educated with a good classification.
2. Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, QTS, etc).
3. Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference).
4. Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference).
5. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training).
6. Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide the training).
7. Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK.
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide a minimum of two professional references.
