Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. This role involves performing various tasks that require physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The Skilled Labourer will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
Duties
1. Carry out manual labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
2. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Assist in the assembly and installation of structures or equipment as directed.
4. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
5. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks on-site.
6. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
7. Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
8. Soft strip out works.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
2. Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
4. Strong communication skills to understand instructions clearly and convey information effectively.
5. A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
