About you
You are a qualified (at least Level 3 or equivalent) Early Years Educator with some experience in a managerial role including nursery administration. You have a fantastic understanding of the EYFS framework and you're looking for a role in which you will take the next step towards management, providing staff training and support along the way.
What you'll be doing
As a deputy manager in Windmill, you will encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework, ensuring all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences throughout their time with us.
You will lead, motivate and inspire the educator team and instill the Storal Values; Standards, Togetherness, Openness, Responsibility, Authenticity and Learning, at all times.
You will also:
1. Ensure consistent high-quality teaching across the nursery
2. Manage staffing ratios effectively managing the weekly staff rota
3. Attract, hire and develop skilled educators and promote Storal values
4. Deputise for the Nursery Manager during absence
What you'll need
Essential
1. Early Years Education qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent
2. Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration
3. Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
