Research Assistant/Research Associate: The University of Cambridge’s Pathogen Dynamics Group, situated within the Department of Genetics, seeks full-time Research Assistants or Research Associates (with a held PhD) to contribute to projects focusing on the emergence, spread, and control of infectious diseases. This fixed-term position involves collaboration with renowned institutions and offers opportunities for Research Assistants to pursue a PhD.

* Strong quantitative skills, coding experience, and a good understanding of probability.
* For Research Associate: A completed PhD. For Research Assistant: Those with a submitted PhD (pending award) will be appointed at Research Assistant level, later amended to Research Associate upon PhD completion.
* Interest in public health.
Job Description: The position involves collaborative research under the supervision of Professor Henrik Salje. Projects may include the testing of blood samples for arboviruses in African countries, development of intervention models for arboviruses globally, analysis of dengue virus birth cohort datasets, and exploration of neutralization responses to dengue virus. The role requires computationally intensive modeling and coding skills.
