Job Summary:
Do you love the smell of fresh prints in the morning? Are you the kind of person who can talk about banner stands with the same enthusiasm as a sports fan discussing their team’s last game? If so, you might be the Large Format Print Account Manager we need!
In this role, you’ll be the charming bridge between our beloved clients and our production team, ensuring that oversized posters, vinyl wraps, and signage are delivered on time, on budget, and in glorious high resolution. Think of yourself as a mix between a project manager, a sales guru, and a magician—because, let’s be real, making last-minute client requests happen sometimes requires wizard-level skills.
Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Wizardry:
* Build strong client relationships without being too clingy.
* Educate customers on the wonderful world of large format printing—because size does matter.
* Handle client requests like a pro, even when they want a billboard printed yesterday.
* Deliver quotes and proposals faster than a speeding printhead.
Project Juggling (Like a Circus Performer, But for Print):
* Coordinate with the production team to ensure jobs are completed on time (without surprise “oops” moments).
* Keep an eye on quality, because blurry graphics are so last season.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously—because what’s life without a bit of chaos?
* Ensure artwork is print-ready (and gently remind clients that a logo screenshot won’t cut it).
Problem-Solving Extraordinaire:
* Put out fires before they start (figuratively, not literally—we don’t print on fire-resistant material).
* Handle last-minute changes with the grace of a ballerina and the patience of a saint.
* Calmly explain why 72 DPI isn’t “high-res.”
* Keep clients happy, even when they send files in Word format.
Requirements:
* Sales or account management experience in print, signage, or a related field (or just a persuasive sales pitch).
* Strong knowledge of large format printing (and the ability to pretend you know everything when a client asks a super technical question).
* Excellent communication skills—especially when delivering bad news about deadlines.
* Ability to multitask like a caffeine-fueled octopus.
* Tech-savviness—CRM, Adobe Creative Suite, and a love for big, colourful files.
* A sense of humour (required for survival).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with retail, events, and trade shows (bonus points if you can name all the different types of banners).
* Familiarity with RIP software and colour management (if you know, you know).
* Knowledge of installation processes—or at least how to pretend you do until you call the production team.
Work Environment:
* Office-based, with occasional client visits (and free coffee if you’re lucky).
* Sometime, its requires last-minute heroics to save a project—cape not included.
* Occasional exposure to stressful deadlines and oddly specific client requests.
