FinTech RS are supporting our client, a well known and established legal firm who are looking for a Mortgage Advisor to join their team in Aberdeen on a Permanent basis. This role has arisen due to the companies growth and are as a result are excited to have an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their Financial Services Team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the mortgage process, providing expert advice, and recommending suitable mortgage products based on their individual needs and financial situations. This role is 35 hours per week (9am-5pm) with a 1 hour lunch break. Key responsibilities of this role: · Conducting detailed consultations with clients to assess their financial situation, homeownership goals, and mortgage needs · Have a strong understanding of product knowledge, staying up to date with a wide range of mortgage products, rates, and financial regulations, and be able to explain these clearly to clients · Recommend the most suitable mortgage products(e.g., fixed-rate, variable-rate, buy-to-let, etc.) based on clients' needs, ensuring they understand the benefits, risks, and terms of each product · Guide clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to securing an offer. Help clients gather necessary documentation and ensure a smooth application process · Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing support and advice on mortgage renewals, re-mortgages, or any other financial services that may benefit them. · Achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring a high-level of client satisfaction while delivering results for the business Experience and qualifications required: · Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor is essential for this role · You must have a thorough understanding of mortgage products and planning, financial regulations, and the mortgage market · Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with clients as well as the ability to build long term relationships · To be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously · Good negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively · A self-motivated and proactive approach to work · Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
