Linlithgow Support Workers
Earn up to £23,150.16 per year
Various Full time & Part time Contracts available - Female Only
Linlithgow Service supports 9 people. There are 3 people in a House of Multiple Occupancy and 6 in their own individual homes. All the houses are situated around one courtyard which means there is a real community feel amongst both the Supported People and the Support Workers. Support needs within the service range from 24-hour support (including using the hoist and personal care) to those who just need help with finances, shopping, and social activities.
Our support workers support our people using a person-centred approach to help them live their lives to their full potential and feel included in the community.
We offer a personalised service to meet individual needs, including support to maintain tenancies, finances, personal care, and health & social support.
There is a bus stop outside with buses going into Edinburgh, Falkirk, Grangemouth, Bo'ness, and the surrounding villages. The train station is a 4-minute walk from the service, and we also have car parking available on site.
Shifts at Linlithgow range from 4 hours to 16 hours, and there are 3 sleepover shifts per day.
'The best thing about working at Linlithgow service is that it has a great community feel. The team is really welcoming, and the supported people are great fun (and have an amazing sense of humour).' - Deborah, Care & Support Manager
