We’re looking for Senior Administrative Support Officers to join our dynamic Corporate Business Support team.
We Have Two Roles Available
1. Senior Administrative Support Officer to Social Workers
o In this role, you’ll provide support to children’s social workers and child and family support practitioners including organising diaries, meetings, submitting passport applications for children in our care and drafting responses to partner agencies.
2. Senior Administrative Support Officer to Adult’s Social Work Teams
o In this role, you’ll provide support to the Adult Social Care Community Team.

What You’ll Be Doing In Both Roles
* Managing social work team duty phone lines and mailboxes, ensuring urgent matters are handled efficiently.
* Handling queries from stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact on behalf of social workers.
* Processing financial requests on behalf of social workers.
* Producing high quality meeting minutes.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong written communication skills, with experience drafting professional correspondence.
* The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.
* A solid understanding of GDPR regulations and confidentiality best practices.
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and stays calm under pressure.
* Proficiency in ICT systems and databases, with the ability to maintain accurate records and extract relevant data.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
