Duties as a SEN Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet the needs of SEN students. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists to support student learning. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence. Assess students’ abilities and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and maintain accurate records. Contribute to the wider school community through meetings, training, and collaboration with staff.
