Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious residential developer delivering a 190-unit housing project in Canterbury. This role is key to managing the financial aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget. The position offers hybrid working and a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee cost management, including budget estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Monitor project expenditure and assess variations to ensure value for money.
Liaise with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to manage financial and contractual obligations.
Lead procurement strategies and contract negotiations.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage any claims or disputes.
Oversee payments, final accounts, and risk assessments to maintain project financial control.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Minimum 7-8 years' experience in residential development.
Proven track record in managing large-scale housing projects.
Strong knowledge of cost management, financial reporting, and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly with contractors and stakeholders.
