Musselburgh Grammar School is a vibrant and ambitious secondary, serving the town of Musselburgh and the nearby village of Whitecraig. We are looking for a Curriculum Leader to lead our faculty of Mathematics and Numeracy. The successful candidate will ensure the faculty continue to improve, and will strive to raise attainment in the areas of mathematics and numeracy throughout the whole school. You will lead a team of committed and experienced teachers, and work alongside our other Curriculum Leaders and Senior Management Team in delivering our School Improvement Plan - ensuring the very best outcome for our young people.
As well as specialist knowledge in maths, we are looking for somebody who is inspiring, passionate about their subject, and has demonstrable experience of leading improvement at a subject / department or whole school level. Please contact Jodie Hannan, Headteacher, for more information.
Job Details
Teaching relevant subject through S1-S6.
Subject to the policies of the school and East Lothian Council, the duties of a Principal Teacher, as a member of the school’s management team, is to perform such tasks as the Head Teacher/Depute Head Teacher will direct having reasonable regard to the overall workload of a classroom teacher.
