About the role
We’re looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue and exceptional service to our insurer partners and beyond. You'll deliver additional value through effective prospecting, managing and developing relationships with some of our household name insurance partners, as well as other businesses.
We’re looking for an experienced account manager who is passionate about building meaningful and productive relationships with new and existing partners, with a strong appreciation for identifying and maximising commercial opportunities.
What you'll do
1. Establish strong and effective relationships both externally and internally with key stakeholders.
2. Identify business development opportunities through strong account management.
3. Quickly understand partner pain points and work to offer practical solutions for improvement.
4. Be accountable for the sales business plan, delivering budgeted revenue and meeting sales targets.
5. Agree and maintain contractual terms - navigating complex negotiations that can involve both internal and external legal representatives.
6. Continuously grow commercial awareness of the sector with an ability to construct attractive propositions to win business.
7. Keep up to date with market trading conditions, regulations and developments in the industry.
8. Review data and articulate findings.
What we're looking for
Essentials:
1. Strong B2B account management and business development experience.
2. Experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders.
3. A proven track record in working within a commercial environment.
4. Strong contractual negotiation skills.
5. An analytical mindset with exceptional communication skills.
6. Confident presenter at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Knowledge of the home, motor or van insurance market.
2. Knowledge of insurance pricing.
