That's where you come in Join the team and play a key role in operational excellence Role Overview The Maintenance Engineer will join the Engineering team of a leading Fresh Produce group. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow and maintenance of critical operational machinery. Based at a state-of-the-art packing facility, the Maintenance Engineer will work as part of the team on a shift basis to ensure that each production run operates smoothly, efficiently, and at maximum output. Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring checks Minimise downtime by effectively managing the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) Ensure compliance with legal requirements through a program of statutory inspections Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety standards, company policies, engineering legislation, and relevant codes of practice Maintenance Engineer Key Requirements Hands-on experience in engineering maintenance in a factory / packhouse production environment Strong understanding of production machinery, equipment, and systems Ability to drive performance and contribute as a positive team member Proactive mindset to maintenance and a keen eye for detail A solid understanding of Health & Safety protocol, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment If you are an experienced maintenance professional with a proactive approach and a passion for driving operational excellence, we want to hear from you Salary: c£37k Shift: 4-on - 4-off / 7-7 Days Location: Essex - commutable from Kent, Essex, Suffolk
