Role: Managing Quantity Surveyor

Division: BUILDING
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor at GRAHAM, you'll be the linchpin between our Commercial Manager and project QS teams. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the QS team on large construction projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with our commercial strategies.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading and managing the QS team on designated projects
- Overseeing subcontract package procurement processes
- Conducting financial due diligence on supply chain partners
- Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Proactively managing dispute resolution processes
- Monitoring project financials and ensuring adherence to margin strategies
- Participating in progress and commercial meetings, representing the company's interests
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Managing Quantity Surveyor role
- Strong technical knowledge of building projects and contract administration
- Proficiency in JCT and NEC forms of contract
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective people management and team leadership abilities
