Salary: 40,000 - 70,000 GBP per year Requirements:
* I am seeking someone with a degree or HNC/D qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Construction discipline. Other relevant experiences will also be considered.
* Experience in installation or commissioning production/manufacturing facilities, including special purpose machinery and bespoke equipment, is essential. I welcome candidates from other disciplines such as construction project management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, utilities, and/or building services engineering.
* Relevant qualifications or significant experience in managing contractor activities and ensuring construction Health & Safety (such as NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or specific safety topic training) are required.
* I expect knowledge of construction and/or manufacturing plant & equipment installations.
* Experience in managing contractors in full compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations is vital.
Responsibilities:
* I will have you lead all project phases, ensuring that projects adhere to company and departmental quality standards.
* You will interpret complex customer requirements and support the preparation of designs, implementation plans, specification approvals, and financial business cases.
* You will manage a diverse internal network of teams and external customers while developing the mechanical, electrical, and civil specifications for your projects.
* I need you to lead, develop, and motivate assigned staff to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
* You will be responsible for all installations, ensuring compliance with current company standards, statutory health and safety legislation, building control, and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
* You will deliver best value and customer satisfaction by effectively managing and growing relationships with various suppliers.
* You are expected to provide budgetary and financial control, including oversight of team members working under your direction.

As an Infrastructure Plant & Equipment – Specialist Project Manager, you will act as a client-side project manager and ensure the successful delivery of the design, planning, and implementation of various plant & equipment upgrades and new installations across our sites.
