Post-16 Education Content Developer Home-based with regular travel to the London office About Us The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement. We do this by supporting schools, colleges, and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. We generate research evidence on effective practices that support learning outcomes and help narrow the socioeconomic attainment gap. We collaborate with education professionals to ensure this evidence is applied effectively to maximise benefits for children and young people. The EEFs reach and impact has been tremendous: the English education system is now one of the most evidence-informed in the world. Over half of state primary and secondary schools have taken part in an EEF-funded trial, and 70% of all school leaders use the Teaching and Learning Toolkit to inform their decision-making. We are now looking for a Post-16 Education Content Developer to join us on a part-time basis (working 24 hours per week, 0.6 FTE) for a six-month, fixed-term contract. So, if you want to use your expertise to drive meaningful change in education, this is the role for you The Role As a Post-16 Education Content Developer, you will develop resources, content and evidence to support our post-16 work with a particular focus on disadvantaged young people. Specifically, you will produce exemplifications to accompany our flagship guidance report, including case studies and high-quality materials that bring evidence to life for post-16 practitioners. Producing actionable and relevant content and tools, you will support the development of resources focusing on EEFs approach to Action Research in the post-16 sector. You will also communicate nationally through written content, such as newsletters and blogs, on topics relevant to the sector. Additionally, you will: - Provide insights into current post-16 priorities and practices to support EEFs wider teams - Utilise your network within the post-16 sector to ensure content is sector-relevant About You To be considered as a Post-16 Education Content Developer, you will need: - Direct experience working in the post-16 education sector - A comprehensive understanding of the post-16 educational landscape - Experience translating evidence into accessible and relevant resources for practitioners - Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills - A strong interest in educational research and improving learning outcomes - The ability to develop high-quality resources that support effective practices in post-16 settings - The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining flexibility All EEF staff are subject to a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). ?
