Tenancy Management Officer Hourly Rate: PAYE up to £24.91, Umbrella £26.99 - £31.12 (doe) Location: Oxford Job Type: Temporary (until April, with likely extension) Immediate Start We are seeking a Tenancy Management Officer for an immediate start with an Oxford-based council. This temporary role is an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in tenancy management and looking to contribute to community welfare. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee and manage the tenancy lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and council regulations. Address and resolve issues related to tenancies, including disputes and arrears. Conduct property inspections to ensure maintenance and safety standards are met. Provide support and advice to tenants to promote sustainable tenancies. Liaise with other council departments, external agencies, and contractors to coordinate services and support for tenants. Prepare reports and documentation related to tenancy management and present findings to senior management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in tenancy or property management, preferably within a local government context. Strong understanding of housing legislation and tenancy agreements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
