Spire Manchester are now recruiting a Senior Staff Nurse to join our small but warm and friendly team on the wards.

Duties and responsibilities
1. The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will take charge on shifts assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
2. Take charge of the ward in the absence of the Sister
3. Assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs.
4. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others
5. Mentoring newly qualified staff and student nurses
6. Liaising and networking with other departments across the hospital
Who we're looking for
7. Current NMC registration with no restriction on practise
8. Experience of working within Surgical settings
9. Cardiac experience is highly desirable
10. Good management experience in a similar role, with proven ability to lead a team and develop nursing services
11. With excellent organisational and communication skills they will also be required to manage a complex service while ensuring a gold standard of care for all patients throughout their stay
12. Flexibility to work rotation of days and nights
