We have a fantastic opportunity for a FP&A Business Partner to join a global company based in Staines on an interim basis for approx. 3-6 months.
You will be working closely with the business to provide financial analysis and commercial support to contribute to the business success. This key Finance Business Partner role will support the organisation to deliver all aspects of financial planning and analysis and business support to ensure that the business achieves and exceeds on its objectives while following the Global strategy. An immediate start is essential for this role, along with a competitive day rate and a hybrid working pattern.
Responsibilities:
1. Key Finance Business Partner taking a leading role for Ireland and South Africa while also supporting on the UK
2. Working with the FP&A Director and CFO to identify areas of improvement and leading and executing change that has been agreed for you to own.
3. Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide the UKISA leadership team with appropriate analytical reporting and tools to establish and measure the business performance.
4. Review and support on the preparation of the monthly leadership dashboard reporting, covering financial and operational performance, to enable the UKISA leadership to assess current performance in order to drive and support crucial business decisions. Continually identify areas for improvement and develop the dashboards to ensure the key data remains relevant, insightful and adds value while still maintaining a first class standard.
5. Review the preparation of a first class monthly commentary to be submitted to the International consolidation team in line with Global requirements and timetable.
6. Manage, co-ordinate and deliver the annual Ireland & South Africa Operating Plan process and whilst also supporting on the UK Operating Plan process in line with the Global timetable
7. Manage, co-ordinate and deliver an accurate and robust forecast on a quarterly basis for Ireland & South Africa whilst supporting on UK, also assessing the business outlook to the end of the quarter. Providing key insights to the potential future risks and opportunities to the business.
8. Working closely with FP&A Director and CFO, develop, implement and maintain a long term robust planning model to support strategic business planning and assist the leadership team in making mid to long term commercial decisions.
9. Business Partner with UKISA Business Units, working to anticipate potential business challenges and opportunities through providing data insights on business trends and relevant macro-economic trends, providing expert guidance and support in order to assist the UKISA Executive Committee in making important business decisions.
10. This role will lead complex projects as a Finance partner in line with major BU projects and initiatives driving accountability by supporting investment appraisals, business cases and financial project tracking.
11. Working with the FP&A Director to manage the operational reporting and analysis for the Business, working closely with the Implementation and Service Organisation.
12. Initatiate and drive continuous improvement and Business Process Improvement (“BPI”) initiatives throughout Finance and the wider organization.
13. Provide the business with commercial and financial expertise in all areas where required particularly with the pricing strategy, investment appraisal, product and client profitability, deal structures and all other commercial aspects of the business.
14. Build a strong working relationship with the local Accounting team and all relevant international finance teams, particularly working closely with the extended FP&A team in Barclona.
15. Partner with the EMEA FP&A COE to drive continuous improvements in order to optimise Financial reporting.
16. Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
17. Deputise for the FP&A Director mainly during their annual leave
Requirements:
18. Degree educated with strong academics
19. Minimum Five years finance experience as a qualified accountant preferable
20. Excellent IT skills (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
21. Experience of financial systems (Oracle and Hyperion preferable)
22. Power Pivot, Power Query experience desirable
23. This is a true commercial opportunity which is close to the business and the senior management team therefore it is critical that you can demonstrate expertise in working with finance and non-finance teams at the highest level.
24. Experience of leading a business partnership relationship with senior stakeholders, preferably within a large organization.
