The Regional Sales Manager job itself
In this role, you will manage and support a regional sales team in securing Preventative Maintenance contracts for Industrial and Automatic doors, as well as ensuring that your own sales targets for larger service contracts are achieved. Responsibilities include:
1. Complete site surveys
2. Submit and secure quotations or tenders in accordance with the company estimating rules and in line with pricing policies and targeted time frames
3. Provide customers with excellent service standards
4. Promote company product/service offerings
5. Internal team communication
6. Carry out customer surveys
7. Lead in quotes & orders fast turnarounds
8. Follow up on quotes & orders
9. Maximise sales opportunities
10. Obtain materials/goods/equipment quotes
11. Attend health & safety meetings
12. Support marketing campaigns & digital media
13. Identify hazards on customer sites
14. Participate in out of hours rota
15. Manage customer relations
16. Identify & complete manufacturing details
17. Sign off/approve supplier drawings
18. Achieve monthly sales targets
19. Conduct project walkthroughs with engineer teams
20. Address customer issues
21. Complete full technical surveys
22. Conduct site & vehicle audits
23. Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
24. Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
25. Account management
