As a result of growth in demand for our services, we are seeking an addition to our Payroll Services by TaxAssist Team. We have an opportunity for a Payroll Associate to join our friendly team based in Norwich on the Broadland Business Park.

You will receive support and guidance from our experienced team, as well as ongoing training via The Payroll Centre’s ACT platform.
The Role
* To manage and accurately process a portfolio of payrolls for a number of our offices, including the onboarding of new clients and ongoing weekly or monthly processing. This will include payroll calculations, statutory payments, automatic enrolment, and all other aspects of payroll.
* Processing Construction Industry Scheme returns – experience is preferred but not essential.
* Working on Excel to maintain records of work carried out for clients.
About You
You will have:
* Recent experience in payroll services as part of an outsourced team; recent experience in a payroll bureau/chartered accountancy practice is preferred. We will prioritise candidates with this experience.
* You will be familiar with payroll calculations, statutory payments, automatic enrolment, and other legislation surrounding payroll.
* Experience and proficiency in payroll software.
* Excel skills & knowledge.
* You will be comfortable providing assistance to client queries via email or telephone.
* The ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confidence to build a rapport with our franchisees and their clients using excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
* A work ethic to organise yourself and your workload well, to work independently and collaboratively.
