Fawns Recreational Services (T/A Playtime by Fawns) are an expanding company based in Fleet, Hampshire, designing, manufacturing and installing timber play equipment primarily for the School, Nursery and Parish Council sectors. Part of the Wicksteed Leisure Group of Companies, Fawns has been established for 28 years and employs over 40 people. As a result of continued expansion and internal promotions, we have a position available for an Area Sales Manager based in the East of England.
The Role:
1. Preferable based in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire or Cambridgeshire.
2. Responsible for driving sales within a designated territory to achieve targets set with support from the Sales and Marketing Director.
3. Communicate (written/ verbal) accurate information to the sales support team to ensure process efficiency.
4. Ability to self-generate new leads through prospecting will be required.
5. Lead local marketing activity.
6. Help develop new products to benefit company sales.
Essential Skills:
1. Be able to build rapport with customers, build trust and confidence in a short space of time.
2. Be enthusiastic and promote Fawns with a consultative sales approach.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Self-motivated to achieve sales targets set.
5. Work in a professional and organised manner, especially time management.
6. Smartly presented.
7. Full driving license.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years proven track record in field sales. Experience in selling to schools would be an advantage.
