We are looking to appoint a candidate to take on the management of the school's Admin Team and Cover Board.
Position: Admin and Cover Manager
Salary: S01/2 £32,076 to £36,648 (pay award pending)
Actual Salary: £27,912 rising to £31,891
Type: Full Time, Term-time only, Permanent
Start Date: From December 2024 or sooner
The successful candidate does not necessarily need to have experience of working in schools but should demonstrate a good administrative background.
The Admin Manager will work closely with the School Business Manager and Deputy Head to deliver a range of administrative functions including:
1. Managing the school's cover board
2. Work experience
3. Staff absence
4. Student services
5. Reception
The successful applicant will lead a team and deliver two core functions of the school. This will require effective leadership, supervision, and management of the administrative staff. Flexibility is essential to manage the everyday needs of the school’s Cover Board. High levels of personal commitment and attention to detail are necessary to facilitate the delivery of these student-focused services.
The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work to a high standard, along with a solid understanding of clerical skills across a wide range of activities. The ability to prioritize the workload and adhere to deadlines is crucial.
We seek a candidate who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and can demonstrate a positive approach, as well as possessing strong IT skills.
Working Hours: 7.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on a Friday.
