About the role
Our Food and Beverage department are a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our F&B Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day operating of the restaurants, bars, and cafes across the terminal. Here are the responsibilities:
* I will oversee, manage, and develop a team of F&B assistants.
* I will be responsible for the rota for my team, including shift and daily duties allocation.
* I will be responsible for stock control, including ordering, rotation, and waste control.
* I will be responsible for the movement and storage of stock deliveries.
* I will serve customers at their table and at till point.
* I will prepare hot and cold beverages.
* I will prepare some hot food items and deliver them to our customers' tables.
* I will be responsible for the cleanliness of equipment, floors, and tables.
* I will work with my team and my colleagues from other departments to consistently deliver our passengers with exemplary service.
* I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team' culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
* I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To undertake this role, you will need the following skills:
* Supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting.
* Hold a level 2 in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
* A full understanding of both front of house (Restaurant, Bar, and Café) and back of house (Kitchen management) operations.
* Experience in customer service.
