As a Home Instead caregiver, you’ll provide vital support to our clients in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:
1. Assisting with outings
2. Supporting medication needs
3. Helping with personal care
4. Providing mobility assistance
5. Preparing meals
6. Helping with household tasks
While you offer this valuable assistance to our clients, here’s what we can offer you in return:
7. No uniform requirement
8. Guaranteed hours contracts
9. Pay ranging from £12 to £13.50 per hour, depending on shift time
10. Increased rates with completed NVQ levels – each level boosts your pay
11. Double pay on all bank holidays
12. Minimum 35p per mile travel allowance
13. Paid travel time and waiting time
14. All mandatory training paid at £12 per hour
15. Access to a 24-hour employee assistance program
16. Reliable and responsive on-call support for emergencies
17. Supportive management with an open-door policy
18. Start within 6 days if your DBS is on the Update Service
