Daniel Owen are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor who are seeking a Communal Heating Manager to join them on a South London contract.
Communal Heating Manager Role:
* Liaise with the Council on all matters, staying in contact with senior management of the Engineering Services team
* Manage a team of heating engineers and contractors installing, maintaining and repairing heating services to the Council's housing stock, from in-house district property work through to plant maintenance
* Provide expert technical advice to the team when issues or problem jobs arise
* Support Supervisors to monitor and manage communal heating engineer's performance to achieve agreed service levels and KPIs.
* Responsible for keeping the Gas/PPM KPI at 100%
* Contract management of all staff, employed and subcontract, ensuring KPIs are met and regular tool box talks are held.
* Arranging block shutdowns to carry out work within district properties
* Management of the Communal Heating Team with support from supervisors. You will lead, manage, motivate, engage and support the team to deliver a customer focused service.
* Planning of works to ensure the service supports delivery of an efficient and effective service and achieves 100% compliance.
* Ensure all engineers reports are completed accurately and to the Council's standards
* Complaints resolution with the Council
* Act as an ambassador for the service, actively building positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Attend meetings when required.
* Any other reasonable duties to support service delivery
Communal Heating Manager Requirements:
* Gas safety management including previous management of a DLO
* Full driving licence
* Line Management experience, within a social housing environment.
* Computer literate and skilled with Microsoft word, excel and office
* CSCS Card
