We’re looking for an enthusiastic Vendor Management Specialist to join our high-performing Vendor Management team. You will take charge of optimizing our vendor partnerships that drive our excellence and efficiency in hiring contingent workers, ensuring that every partnership aligns with our goals for excellence and growth.
In this role, you’ll join a team created in 2020 that has built everything from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to shape our vendor strategies and grow with us as a team, both professionally and personally. We want you to take advantage of your entrepreneurial mindset and be innovative.
You’ll be working with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure our business runs smoothly and successfully. If you're ready to become our subject matter expert for Sony Contingent Worker hiring and elevate our vendor management practices, we want to hear from you!
You will:
1. Manage our temporary hiring efforts & process for circa 500 temps across Europe (please note that this role is not a recruitment-oriented position)
2. Partner with our selected vendors & managed service providers to effectively hire contingent workers
3. Support efforts to grow the contingent worker coverage throughout our teams & sister companies across Europe
4. Become a subject matter expert in contingent worker processes and system processes
5. Utilize various data sets to create & present process dashboards & key success metrics back to management
6. Learn about other areas managed day to day by Vendor Management as you become established in the role
You will bring:
1. Previous demonstrable experience in Vendor Management, Customer Service or Sales, Data Analysis, Stakeholder Management & Engagement ideally gained within a large corporate environment
2. A customer-centric mentality

4. The ability and desire to manipulate data sets into digestible content
5. A resilient and adaptable nature
6. A confident & outgoing personality
7. An additional European language would be beneficial, but not essential
