Role: Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant
A school in Shrewsbury has an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). * Can develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH in managing behaviour and improving academic results.
* Works collaboratively with teachers and support staff to address SEMH needs.
* Can provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH.
* A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
* Has experience working with students with SEMH.
* Possesses knowledge of behaviour management strategies or is willing to learn.
* Having a qualification in Team Teach and experience with SEMH students is preferred but not mandatory.
