Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
* You will have your own portfolio of clients and be responsible for all aspects of monthly bookkeeping, including reconciling bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers, and other control accounts.
* Work independently and manage time effectively to meet monthly deadlines for VAT returns and management accounts.
* Communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
* Office-based role, with occasional work at clients' premises.
* Utilize problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and precision in processing.
Requirements:
* AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
* Experience in Xero, Sage, and Excel is a necessity.
* 1 year of experience with accounting software, organisational skills, Xero, and Sage (required).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 36.25 per week
